Questions
How is this different from the Paraphraser?
The Paraphraser says the same thing in different words — useful when the wording is the problem. The Text Improver decides the writing could be better and makes it better against one named goal, which usually means cutting rather than swapping.
Will it still sound like me?
With "Keep my voice" on it holds your register, vocabulary and sentence rhythm and improves within them. Turn it off when you want the text lifted into a different register entirely.
Why does it list the changes?
Because an edit you cannot see is an edit you cannot check. The list names the substantive changes and the reason for each, so you can accept the whole thing or disagree with one line of it.
