NexKit charges nothing
There is no plan to choose and no card to add. You bring your own DeepSeek or Alibaba Model Studio key, your provider bills you for the tokens you use, and NexKit takes nothing in between.
Four things that are true, stated plainly.
Every one of these is a property of how the product is built rather than a promotional position, which is why none of them has an expiry date attached.
NexKit charges nothing for the gateway.
There is no plan to choose, no card to add and no NexKit invoice. There is no billing code in the product at all — this is the shape of v1, not an introductory price.
Your provider bills you directly.
You attach your own DeepSeek or Alibaba Model Studio key, and the tokens are spent on your account at their published rates. NexKit never fronts them, so there is nothing for NexKit to mark up.
Your spending limits are the ones you already set.
Budgets, quotas and alerts stay where you configured them, on the provider’s own console. NexKit adds no second place to check and no second thing to cancel.
There is no meter running.
Usage and Logs record counts, timings and identifiers so YOU can see what ran. No prompt and no output is ever stored, and none of it is billing data.

- A free tier of model usage. NexKit has no inference to give away.
- An SLA. This is a young product and a promise nobody has measured is not one.

NexKit quotes no provider prices, because they are not ours to quote and they change. Each provider publishes its own, and the account you are billed on is the one you already have.

A commitment about the future is worth exactly as much as its specificity, so here is the specific version.
NexKit charging for something is not planned and has no date. If it ever happens, it will be a new thing you can choose to buy — not a bill arriving for the thing you are using today. There is no metered usage to convert into an invoice: what gets recorded is counts, timings and identifiers, and no prompt or output is stored at all.
The reason to say this here rather than in a terms page is that it is the actual question behind “what is the catch”, and answering it anywhere else is not answering it.
Nothing to compare, so there is nothing to decide.
