Questions
Do I have to say which language it is?
No. It is detected from the code and shown alongside the explanation, so if it guesses wrong you can see that immediately rather than reading a confident explanation of the wrong language.
Will it tell me if the code is wrong?
With "Flag risks" on it calls out likely bugs, unhandled edge cases, security-sensitive operations and performance traps. It also describes what the code does rather than what it was clearly meant to do, which is usually where a bug becomes visible.
Is it safe to paste work code?
Your code is sent to our server and on to a third-party AI provider to produce that one explanation, and NexKit does not store it afterwards — but that is our side, not a promise about the provider. Do not paste credentials, keys or proprietary code you are not permitted to disclose to a third party.
